Scale

Weigh in by hand

Renpho readings arrive on their own. Use this only when the scale isn't synced.

Backups

With a GitHub repo set, backups happen on their own after every change. Without one, Save a copy sends the full backup to Drive, WhatsApp or a file — do it now and then; the CSV opens in any spreadsheet.

Settings

All three keys are free and stay on this phone (never in backups). Gemini does the estimates. OpenRouter is a second, independent AI that answers when every Gemini model is down — sign up at openrouter.ai/keys, 50 free requests a day. Tavily searches the web when you name a place — its menu, published nutrition, and other people's calorie counts — at app.tavily.com, 1,000 free searches a month.

About this app

No account, no ads, no subscription, no notifications, nothing to unlock. Your data lives on this phone (and in your own GitHub repo if you set one). Export it any time as a file or CSV, or delete all of it with one button — nothing is kept anywhere else. Photo estimates use your own free Gemini key; barcodes use Open Food Facts, an open database that needs no key.

Set up

A minute of facts gives you a first-week target. After about seven logged days with weigh-ins, the app measures your real expenditure from your own numbers and takes over.

Your job, outside training

Training is logged separately and added on top, so this is only the rest of the day. A desk job already includes ordinary moving about, commuting and errands.

Goal

Get one at aistudio.google.com → Get API key. Without it, barcodes, regulars, shakes and typed entries still work.
